Crunchy is a delicious snack product that is currently manufactured by only a limited number of companies in Iran. It is a highly popular snack that requires a specialized extruder for its production.
The production process for Crunchy is as follows:
The raw materials for this product, consisting of corn flour or crushed corn, are mixed with various additives in the mixer and then conveyed to the extruder feeder and subsequently into the extruder.
The extruded product is then transferred by a belt conveyor to the sifter (screening machine), where undersized particles are separated and the properly sized product is conveyed to the frying machine.
After frying, the product enters a vibratory de-oiling tray, where excess oil is removed. It is then transferred by a belt conveyor to the flavoring machine, where various flavors are applied.
After the flavoring process, the finished product is ready for packaging.
